Fundraising

Dear families of Pleasant Hill-Fundraising is a critical part of the PTO. The money earned through fundraisers directly benefits students. Last year our largest purchases were for computers and refinishing our wooden castle playground. In addition to these purchases, our fundraising money sends all students on field trips, provides school assemblies, purchases books for the library, games for indoor recess time, and much more.

We choose different types of fundraisers throughout the year to give each family a chance to participate in those they feel are most important. We do not expect every family to participate in every fundraiser but are grateful for those who can.  We have great plans for the profits for the 2007-2008 school year.  If you have a fundraiser idea or have suggestions for the profits, we encourage you to attend one of the PTO meetings and voice your opinion.

In addition, we participate in community events to support the city of Pleasant Hill and to raise money for our school. We appreciate your attendance and support at the Labor Day festival at the Holiday Shop at the Youth Center in December.
