Our 4th Annual Panther Pride Family Walk-A-Thon
was held on Saturday, September 22nd

Thank you to all students, staff, families and friends who participated! Over 380 Panther Pride walkers, walked to raise money for our school. We enjoyed beautiful weather, free lunch, and great music provided by Complete Music. Many awesome prizes were awarded!

And….we EXCEEDED our goal of $12,000.00

Our final amount raised is: $12,277.25!!!

Many of you asked, “What is this money used for??” Great question!
PTO has budgeted $3500 for new technology for our school, $3000 for field trips/buses, $1500 for assemblies. This money allows us to provide “extras” for our students that they would not otherwise receive.

Thanks to your efforts we can accomplish our goals. Please attend our next PTO meeting on Tuesday, October 16th at 6:30pm in the Art room. Childcare is provided, and we need your input as we make these important fund and “fun” raising decisions.

We’re already making plans for next year’s 5th annual Walk-A-Thon in September 2008 …where we plan to go “Walking with the Stars”. Watch for your VIP invitation and more information coming in May 2008.
