I grew up on the East side of Des Moines.  I attended Wallace Elementary, Hiatt Junior High, and North High School.  I graduated from Grand View College in 1998.  After graduation I was a substitute teacher for a year.  I then taught at Studebaker and Watrous Schools for a year.  I have been at Pleasant Hill for the last 9 years. 

My husband, Travis, and I have been married for 11 years.  We have 2 children.  Zackery will be 8 in August and in Mrs. Keiran’s class.  Kristin is 4 and and very excited about being in Preschool at Pleasant Hill.

 We enjoy going to the zoo and the science center, reading, playing outside, and spending time with our extended family.
