I received my elementary education degree from The University of Iowa with a specialization in reading and social sciences and a minor in psychology.  This will be sixth year teaching for Des Moines Public Schools.  I grew up in West Des Moines where most of my family still resides.  My husband and I were married last fall.  We live in Des Moines. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exercising, cooking and watching movies.  I am very excited for the 2009 - 2010 school year to begin.
