Patricia King - Fourth Grade

I attended Iowa State University where I majored in Elementary Education. I started my teaching career in 1991 in the Des Moines Public Schools as a substitute teacher.  I have taught kindergarten, 1^st, and 5^th grade.  The last thirteen years I have taught fourth grade here at Pleasant Hill.  I have one son Zach, who works for UPS.  He is attending Iowa State University and majoring in forestry.  This past summer he had a summer internship through Iowa State with U.S. Army Core of Engineers.  I enjoy antiques, movies, gardening, bicycling and going for long walks.
