Jayne Logsdon,
Special Education
I
have been teaching in the area of Special Education for 10
years. I love teaching a
Pleasant Hill
because we have such an inclusive feeling here. We all
strive to help kids be successful no matter what their needs.
The great part of that philosophy is that we then all get to
be part of the successes! That’s what keeps me coming
back.
I
live “near”
Altoona
– what I affectionately call “the beginning of the
country.” I was raised on a farm and I love that I
don’t have to drive through any city traffic to get to work.
I am married and have 2 children and 2 stepchildren:
Jessica, 25; Danny, 20; Nick, 20; and Hannah, 19. At
this time, three of them are in college and one still lives a
home. My husband and I both enjoy cooking and we love to
have them all together for big meals. We all love to
travel and boat. I used to be an avid waterskiier, but
am more likely to be found fishing these days. Other
hobbies include gardening and rooting for the Cyclones,
especially in basketball. We feel we are truly blessed,
as we are presently all healthy and all our cars are running.
