I have taught Art in the Des Moines Public Schools for 27 years, and am glad to be back for my third year at Pleasant Hill School!  My husband Lonny is also a teacher in Des Moines and coaches swimming.  We have 2 daughters, both artists living in Minneapolis. We just adopted a shelter dog, this summer. Her name is Riley, and she is a collie mix who loves to RUN!  In my free time, I love to draw and paint - right now, I am teaching summer art classes at my house.  I also love walking, biking, gardening, reading, and hanging out with my family and friends.
